Voting Question: Why is La Raza Hanging Out With The ACLU and some of the Democrats?
Is this what La Raza is using my tax dollars for to promote amnstey and I am paying for them to travel , staying in the best hotels, room service all on the taxpayers tab ?Three Georgia Republican state Senators join GALEO’s Nan Orrock (D), La Raza and the ACLU and some of the Democrat minority on the Senate Public Safety committee in endorsing a repeat of the 1986 amnesty for illegal aliens - Vote “YES DO PASS” on Senate Resolution 570.
You can read the as passed committee substitute version of SR 570 endorsing comprehensive immigration reform HERE.
Orrock’s original version HERE.
According to a recent DHS/census report, Georgia leads the nation in the growth rate of the illegal alien population. State laws aimed at compliance with federal immigration laws are being ignored.
The General Assembly is struggling to cut the budget while we fail to enforce federal and state laws that would drive more illegal aliens out of our state.
Yesterday, state Senators John Crosby (R- Tifton District 13), Johnny Grant (R- Milledgeville District 25) and Jeff Mullis (R- Chickamauga District 53) joined some of the Dems on the committee and voted “YES, Do Pass” on a Resolution introduced by Senator Nan Orrock ( Democrat Senator Freddie Powell Sims voted “NO” ) endorsing “Comprehensive Immigration Reform”
Yes
Senators:
Jones (D) , Mullis (R), Seay (D), Crosby (R), Grant (R) and Butler (D)
NO
Senators:
Sims (D), Douglas (R), Carter (R) and Jackson (R)
Nan Orrock, along with Jane Fonda, is a founding friend of former state Senator Sam Zamarripa’s Georgia Association of Latino Elected Officials (GALEO) and replaced him in the senate when he resigned after passage of the 2006 Georgia Security and Immigration Compliance Act.
ACTION NEEDED: NO MATTER WHERE YOU LIVE, PLEASE CALL AND EMAIL THE OFFICES OF THESE REPUBLICAN SENATORS TO DELIVER YOUR THOUGHTS ON THEIR VOTE.
ALSO , AND THIS IS EQUALLY IMPORTANT: PLEASE CALL SENATOR FREDDIE POWEL SIMS TO THANK HER FOR HER PRO-AMERICAN VOTE AGAINST ENDORSING AMNESTY.

Resolved Question: How do I make a petition for this?
I live in the U.S. Georgia and for some reason you are an Adult at 18 in Majority of states but you aren't adult enough to drink and rent a car rent a hotel room or be a candidate.Right now theres a petition to get the drinking age 18 but most people disagree they dont think 18 year olds are adults they consider them children. The age of majority should be 21 in ALL states the only state the has a 21 age of majority is Mississippi. In Alabama and Nebraska the age of majority is 19.The age of majority is not mandated but it should be mandated 21.Most 18-20 year olds are in College living in dorms. In some states if you aren't 18 during graduation you are still a minor at 18.How can I make a petition to get the Majority age to be 21 SO THAT PEOPLE WOULD SHUT UP ABOUT THE DRINKING AGE CAUSE IT MOST LIKELY WONT BE 18.IF the Drinking age and majority age were both the same it would be better.People consider 18 year olds minors for drinking .Maybe the Goverment will agree since you should be an Adult and drink at the same time cause the drinking age has caused a confusion on when a person becomes an adult.I heard a 19 year old wondering if he as even an adult or not .
I know the Mothers Agaisn't Drunk Driving would even agree to this they already think 18 year olds are immature the woman said it on CNN

Resolved Question: HELP ME WITH MY PLOT...I CAN'T SEEM TO PICK ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?
Here are the few ideas I have. I accept constructive criticism as long as you tell WHAT is wrong with it and how I have to change it.
All of these are similar but I don't know which plot line is the best.
PLOT LINE #1
1. Sixteen year old Lela Jasmins lives in the basement of The Plaza Hotel, an exclusive hotel for the nobility of the Royal States Dominion, with twenty other orphaned teenagers like herself under an extensive research program called 'Kids of the Future' designated to teach the next generation how to live the 'right way.'
But when King James Abraxas III announces that he has somehow procured an ancient disease called 'cancer' and the cure has been extinct for years, her life changes around. His majesty proclaims that his son, Prince James Abraxas IV, has an elder twin sister that he put into the hands of the subjects to raise so she rules knowing the faults of the nobility and the will of the peasants. And it turns out that it's none other than her....
PLOT LINE #2
2. Lela Jasmins is your typical teenager. She goes to an extremely boring high school, she has a younger sister who she is sure is out to ruin her life and her favorite subject NEVER WAS, IS, OR WILL BE math. So it's a complete shock when she accidentally becomes the Queen of the Royal States Dominion while visiting the Washington DC with her family.
So now, Lela has to rule an entire country. That is, until Congress, the Queen's advisors, confirm that the crowning was illegal and the way things are going, it seems that the crown isn't going to come off Lela's head any time soon.
Her parents seem to be amused, the paparazzi delighted and Her Majesty Queen Lela Jasmins of the Royal States Dominion extremely annoyed. Because of Line of Succession rules established by the first monarch of North America, she can't abdicate unless she reinstitutes the old system for a day and everyone votes on whether they want her to rule and according to Congress, they aren't going to vote her off because she is 'easily influenced.' But she is going to get her way, no matter what. After all, she's practically royalty...isn't she?
PLOT LINE #3:
When her father, King James Abraxas III, is murdered by ruthless rebels, Georgia Washington Abraxas becomes Queen of Royal States Dominion at age seventeen. 'Easily Influenced' according to Congress, the Queen's advisors, as well as everyone else in the kingdom, Georgia has a lot to deal with. Congress gets greed in its head and keeps on attempting to steal money from the Royal Treasury, foreign countries are trying to salvage land from what surely has to be the Royal States Dominion's downfall and there are whispers of a rebellion against the monarchy.
In order to be on the road to peace, wherever that might lead, Georgia has to stop talking and start doing. But will she be able to show everyone what happens when they cross her? Will she be able to step up to the legacy of all the Abraxas monarchs as well as the legacy that the ancient presidents of this country set up?

PS. YOU MIGHT WANT TO KNOW THIS:
The Royal States Dominion is the future United States in like a thousand years. What happened was that the people of US got freedom to their heads and started fighting with China, hoping to give it's people freedom. China obliterated the United States and left it a barbaric state. A man named James Abraxas (the first) rose and restored peace and humanity to the U.S. He established a monarchy because he thought that a democratic republic would ruin us again.
So the United States became the Royal States Dominion, Congress became the chosen advisors of the king/queen.
If you have any other ideas of how I can bring the 'old' USA into the 'new' RSD (ROYAL STATES DOMINION), please feel free to tell me

Resolved Question: Is there a Gone with the Wind hotel in Georgia?
I was planning on surprising my wife for her birthday by taking her to spend the night at the Gone with the wind house in Ga. She has been saying how she would love to stay there for years. The problem is I think she may have been misinformed because after I looked on the web I couldn't find anywhere saying you could spend the night at this house. The only thing I could find was a themed Bed in breakfast named Tarleton Oaks that seems to be shut down. Does anyone know of any hotels that are Gone with the wind themed? Thanks for the help.
