A Morehead, Kentucky, boutique hotel is like a work of art - hard to define, but you know one when you see one. A boutique hotel implies a lodging that is small and intimate, yet active and full of energy. A 21st century Morehead boutique hotel is much more complex than a conventional branded Kentucky hotel. A boutique is a one-of-a-kind lodging experience.

Kentucky boutique hotels have individual personalities, unique to a city or market. Morehead boutique hotels are usually smaller properties, generally range from 20 to 150 rooms. The smaller property helps to create a more intimate guest experience.

Morehead boutique hotels target each guest individually, as a market of one. The Kentucky hotel must create a personal experience tailored to each guest that is completely service oriented. Service and amenities should be tailored to each guest's individual preferences. Boutique hotels are usually upscale, rated 4 stars or higher.

Boutique hotels are typically housed in an an older, unique structure that was converted from another use. These structures help the property exude a unique personality for a guest stay. Location of the property is usually not important for the guest experience.

Kentucky boutique hotels create a combination of design and service that appeals to specific compatible interests. When a guest enters a Morehead boutique hotel, he will immediately feel at home and find other people there like him. Resolved Question: Can anyone tell me what movie this is?

Since you guys did a great job on my last movie question, here is another. I have asked this before, but did not get the right answer, so here goes: the movie was filmed near my home town Pikeville, Kentucky. All that I remember about it is that it involved coal mining and in one scene a man collapses in a ditch. A boy sees him and points at him. I don't recall what illness or injury the man had. I know the movie had scenes showing coal trucks. My mother was friends with the mother of the boy in the movie. The movie was made in the 1940's 0r 50's. I am positive it was made before the 60's because it was made before I was born. The stars of the movie stayed in a hotel in Pikeville, Ky but I think the film was shot in other parts of the county or perhaps the next county over, Letcher County. I'm sorry I don't have much to go on, but I'm hoping someone knows the name of the movie. I'd ask my mother's friend, but my mother passed away 12 years ago and I don't where her friend is today. They also tore down the hotel. LOL The movie is a black and white movie by the way.

Resolved Question: Which State to Stop and Rest in on our way to Florida?

My family of 6 will be taking a trip to Florida soon, and we won't be able to complete the trip all at once. We would like to know which state would be safe and clean to stop in. We would prefer if it was about half way through the trip. Also which hotels do you recommend that are safe, clean, aren't overly expensive, and fit our family size? The states we will be passing trough are: the bottom of Illinois, the tip of Kentucky, the middle of Tennessee, the middle of Georgia and then into Florida. Thank you so much for your help. We appreciate it very, very much! :)

Resolved Question: When is the cheapest month to travel to Porto, Portugal?

My friends and I want to travel to Porto, Portugal. When is the best time and month to travel? All we want to do is fly there. No car and hotel is need because that's already been taking care of. The departure will be from Louisville, Kentucky. We never flew before so we really don't know what else we would need. I'm sure we will need a passport. Is that all we will need? And are there certain things you can't take on the plane, like a certain type of mp3 player or something? Thanks

Resolved Question: A Friend and I are moving to US VI, Info?

Here is the Situation. Were both 25, white, and from Kentucky. We have no family there or connections. As of right now were thinking about St. Thomas, but I guess it really don't matter as long as I got a job and safe. Were just trying to get some info and facts on the place before we make any move. As for work, Ive worked in Sales, Hotels, and Restaurants. Im sure jobs are hard to come by but isn't every place like that now? I know its a expensive place to be and I plan on visiting sometime this summer before we move. What are the people like? Is the majority white, black, or latino? Any Info will help and thanks for your time to help me out. I live in Louisville now but I grew up in SouthEastern,KY. I guess you can call me a hillbilly but I do have shoes. Me and my buddy have been friends for 20 years now so we know each other pretty well. Thanks for all the info everyone. If ya wanna add anything else please do so.

Voting Question: Temporary housing in Fort Knox/Louisville?

I am marrying my fiancee in just over 2 weeks. He is a soldier stationed in Fort Knox, Kentucky. Because the Army is the way it is, the soonest we could get on base housing would be 6 months. I cannot stay with him in the barracks, even though we will be married. The only temporary housing we have found has a minimum of 3 months. We will only need it for 1 month. I will have to return to Texas to work after that. We did find EXTREMELY sketchy extended stay hotels on the south side of Louisville. We didn't feel safe there. Does anybody know of anything that would work? We looked on Craiglist.com to no real solution. My fiancee refuses to do any roommate situation for our first month of marriage. We are looking at spending well over $1500 for just one month! And that's on top of my rent I'll be paying for my place in Texas. I'm a teacher and he is an enlisted soldier. Any credible suggestion on what to do would be helpful. Thanks!
