Mayfield Heights is one of the top tourist destinations of Ohio. It is a city full of history and at the same time enjoys a modern cosmopolitan atmosphere. The old town has some of the finest historical architecture, in contrast with the gleaming modern structures in the new town.

You can get there by flying on a Ohio Airline which offer budget flights daily to a nearby airport. Alternatively you can take a train or Greyhound bus from a number of other destinations.

You can stay in one of Mayfield Heights's many elegant resort hotels, or for the budget traveler, the city offers a number of inns and motels. If you are staying longer, you might consider renting a holiday condo or apartment.

When you are in Mayfield Heights you can simply enjoy the sun, or there are a number of other opportunities for sightseeing - a visit to the city's museums and galleries is always worthwhile. Alternatively you could explore the narrow streets of the old town on foot, shopping for souvenirs in the many charming designer boutiques. On Sundays the central park is always full of young people who meet for picnics under the shady trees. For the more active, there are opportunities to play golf or tennis. Those who enjoy water-sports can go fishing or swimming. You will probably want to hire a yacht or motor cruiser for the day to reach the best locations.

Getting around Mayfield Heights couldn't be more easy. The city is well served by taxicabs and a modern bus network. If you want to venture further afield you might hire a car and take of to see the sleepy villages in the Ohio countryside, or drive to the coast to while away the afternoon in one of the many secluded areas along the coastline.

Mayfield Heights comes to life in the evening. The city has dozens of excellent bistros, delis, and restaurants, and there are many lively bars and clubs to while away the night into the early hours of the morning.

Whatever your interest, Mayfield Heights, Ohio, has something unique to offer.

Open Question: Would you let your 16 year old daughter date a 23 year old (please read)?

I met a guy on the train a little over a year ago. The moment I met him I knew that he was going to mean something and I did everything I could to get around to talking to him. Things worked the way I wanted. We spent 3 days together on the train and he made me so happy. I gave him my number thinking he'd never call and he did! He called me for a while and told me how he really liked me, but then moved to California and stopped calling me...twice. But now he's back and he was going to go to california again but I told him how I felt and how hurt I was. He decided to stay with his Grandma in Iowa (I'm in Ohio). We started a long distance relationship about a month ago because we both really love each other and really care about each other. he's amazing. he cries over me, sings me songs, tells me i'm beautiful and I care about him a lot. Sounds great, right? The problem is: I told him I was 19 when we met...and a couple weeks ago I told him I was 18..but I'm 16. And he made a comment like he'd date me even if I were 15 because he's in too deep but he'll hate me for lying to him again, won't he? The second thing is: My mum said I can visit him if she goes along too and I stay in a hotel with her at night. The thing is, she thinks he's 19. Part of me feels like she can't judge because she got married to a 25 years old when she was 16...but times were different then...weren't they? Should I try to convince my mother and then tell him my real age? OR should I just find a way to break up with him and never tell my mum? I just really don't want to hurt him but I don't want him to find out while I'm visiting somehow. I also don't want my mum to be upset with me. UGH I'm waiting until marriage for sex and he knows and respects this. So it's not like we'll be having sex whenever I visit.

Open Question: Who ever heard of President Carters Assassination attempt?

On May 5, 1979, ten minutes before President Jimmy Carter was to give a speech at the Civic Center Mall in Los Angeles revealing his plan to abolish funding for few government entities such as military, CIA and also reforming the US treasury and how US borrows its currency from a Foreign own Federal Reserve bank, US Secret Service arrested Raymond Lee Harvey an Ohio-born unemployed American drifter. LAPD investigated Harvey's claims that he was part of a four-man operation to assassinate the president. He claimed that he had been approached by three Latino men staying at the Alan Hotel who gave him the starter pistol, and asked him to shoot it into the ground to create a diversion, so they could then shoot the president from their hotel room during the distraction. According to Harvey, he fired seven blank rounds from the starter pistol on the hotel roof on the night of May 4, to test how much noise it would make, and then spent the night with one of the men he knew as "Julio", later identified as a 21-year-old illegal Mexican alien who gave the name Osvaldo Espinoza Ortiz. At the time of his arrest, Harvey had eight spent rounds in his pocket, as well as 70 unspent blank rounds for the gun. The names "Lee Harvey" and "Osvaldo" drew comparisons to Lee Harvey Oswald, the assassin of President John F. Kennedy. This incident was set up to scare Carter into submission who later stated that he has lost the control of the government. It seems that every time a US president tries to make improvement for American people by getting rid of certain entities that are ruining the country such as the Federal Reserve system which is neither Federal nor has nay reserve, there is always an attempt for their lives. These terrorists have already succeeded many times by killing Lincoln, Kennedy for trying to print their own US currencies. US media never reports these things and it gets white washed. Where would US be if they had their own currency rather than borrowing it from private entities such as Federal Reserve? Seems that my point is valid and some people just believe anything rather than facts. If any of you two have the proof that Federal Reserve is part of US government and not a private bank then provide it here. Sadly, both of the answers below represent ignorant view of people who believe what ever they here on CNN or Media. Typical Americans. No investigation of any sort and just believe whatever you are told. It also seems that you are both christians. After all World began about 6000 years ago. Right!!!

Resolved Question: I live in Ohio and want to go to Churchill Canada?

I want to take my boyfriend to Churchill, Manitoba, Canada. Its a place you can visit and see polar bears and I've heard its a really nice place. But how do I get there is there an airport nearby? Do I have to fly somewhere like Quebec and then drive there it seems really far away. I looked online and there were only like 3 hotels nearby. I know I have to get a passport, but is driving there from Ohio out of the question? I've tried google maps, mapquest, yahoo... they all say its not calculate-able or something stupid like that.. its like the only place i can get directions to is quebec

Voting Question: I would like to get away for a saturday night?

A little stress at home and I would just like to get away. Nothing expensive or fancy, just quiet and relaxing. As long as the hotel doesn't have bugs and stains, I am okay with it. I live in Middletown Ohio. I don't want to travel far, I would like to stay within an hour or half an hour of my town. If anyone has any ideas or knows of any place, please let me know. Also I am going with my fiance so maybe something romantic would be nice also.
