BlackWater (now called something else) and Halliburton are hiding out in San Diego they use to be in North Carolina or somewhere in the South. Now some more of these scum bags have been charged with killing civilians. I am so glad these scum buckets turned me down when I submitted my application. I am a anti/counter terrorism specialist. I am so glad that I did not get caught up in the shy-nola these clowns are now in. they thought they could get away with murder. But guess what you'll have a long time to think about your folly when you rot in the gray bar hotel after killing unarmed civilians. Voting Question: Is Actuarial Innovations, Actuary resources, or Medical Innovations of Howard Butler a scam?

I saw an ad on careerbuilder.com for this organization "Actuary Resources" for a position as an Actuary Analyst. The post does not mention anything about passing any exams. It just mentions that you have some college degree in Math., Statistics, Finance, or a related field and at least 3 hours of Calculus. So I think I am a perfect match. I emailed my resume and I get an email inviting me for a face-to-face interview even though their office is in Tennessee and I am a resident of South Carolina. Anyway since I was trying to start a career I rushed to book a $250 air ticket and reserved a hotel room. But Howard Butler had it all planned. His company has 3 different names “Actuary Resources”, “Actuary Innovations Inc.” and “Medical innovations”, as I told you before he got it all planned. He knew that only desperate job seekers would respond to his ad and would travel hundreds of miles for interviews. So he acts during the interview as if he is checking the resume and it is like he has not seen your resume when you emailed it through careerbuilder.com, and he goes like "oh, see, you have to at least pass Society of Actuaries Exam P in order to be eligible for the job and to pass the exam you have to join our 10 hour review class for $380". It is like you had never sent them your resume or the post had not been spacious to include such a requirement". But as I told you my friends before, it is all part of the scam he masters and he keeps telling you lies about how many companies he has contracts with and how many job offerings he got in his drawers just awaiting your success in the exam and of course your $380. To all job seekers in actuarial science fields do not fall in this scam!!!

Resolved Question: What does my dream mean?

I'm hoping that people who've studied dreams, or know a little bit about them are going to answer this. Please no stupid responses. The other night I had a dream that I was going to die. Now I've read that they can sometimes mean a life changing event. Whether that means job change, job loss, relationship change or loss, etc. But I haven't really heard my type of dream mentioned. It's still kind of freaking me out, and I'm hoping to get answers. Here was the dream: I was sitting in a classroom with a bunch of people that I did not know. I don't really remember who was at the desk but I vividly remember God or Jesus. The people were passing around a box which contained peoples names. They told me that it contained the names of people that were going to die/not die this year. The names in RED meant that you were going to die this year, the names in GREEN meant that you were going to live. They were passing the box around and someone pulled out a name which they thought was me. My name is James, but the last name was different...it was GREEN. They were like you're safe James. I corrected him and told him that the last name wasn't mine. The box continued to go around, names were being pulled, I pulled out a name, it kept going around, then a girl that somehow knew me pulled my name. She looked at me and I'm so sorry, then showed me that it was RED. It said I was going to die this year on September 26th. That's all I remember. Now to go back to what I've originally read about these types of dreams...this is what's happened to me in the past year. I just had a L5/S1 spinal fusion done in December of 09'. 6 screws and a spacer. I was engaged to be married just less than 3 weeks ago, we split up and she drained my checking account. She took all my furniture and left me with nothing. I moved back to Dallas, TX where I've been working for the past 2 1/2 years. I am trying to enlist into the Navy for the Navy Seals, but am having problems because of my back surgery. They don't know if they are going to let me go, for anything, let alone Seals. My dad is about to retire, and I'm about to quit my job. I work for the same company my dad does and he's my boss. I currently am living out of a hotel that my employer pays for (We all stay here). When the jobs done, i have to go back to Pittsburgh where the office is at. I have no apartment, no place to live (I lived with my ex), no furniture, just a car. I'm thinking about staying in Dallas or moving to South Carolina, but don't know what I'm doing for a job. So I don't know how this can be job related. Relationship related, I just met a girl down in Dallas who I've been hanging out with, but I am definitely not ready for a relationship..so I don't know how this can be relationship related. ANY THOUGHTS? I'M LOST. Oh, September 26th is my moms birthday.

Resolved Question: Has anyone in here even been to the deep south part of the US before, stereotypes are true right?

I have a friend who is Indian (India) and he visited the deep south with me a year ago, we wanted to see how it was like. Of course we are just "Yanks", we had preconceived ideas about the deep south but we kept to ourselves, didn't bother anyone and didn't show off in any way possible. My wife was left to take care of my two Samoyed dogs while my friend and I took a vacation down south. We went to Georgia, then to Alabama and then to South Carolina. Well when people saw me they were okay with it but when they saw my Indian friend (India), they froze and looked at him like he was some monster. I just told him to sit down and went to go get something to eat (we were at a hotel) when a person stopped me and asked "wait, are you hanging out with his type? What is wrong with you". I simply kept walking, this was in Alabama. Also we ran into some people and they asked my friend if he makes car bombs for a living. We also saw a Black guy - White girl couple that received a lot of bad looks. Also I found that the deep south was very poor and had lots of open racism. Was a culture shock to me coming from a multicultural city, how was your experience?

Resolved Question: Should I stay in a hotel in NYC itself or somewhere outside of it?

I live in South Carolina, and I'd like to drive up and visit New York City and environs for a few days. I don't really care about seeing too many tourist sights or shows; I'd just like to experience the city - all the languages, people, shops, etc. I am interested in museums and libraries too. I am a student with little money, however, so I thought it might be cheaper to stay somewhere outside of the city itself. In that case though, are there any options for me to get into the city without having to get a cab? (I will have a car but I assume there would be nowhere to park it.) Or would all the transportation costs outweigh the money saved on hotels? I really appreciate all suggestions.
