Brownsville, Tennessee, romantic lodging evoke images associated with the classic qualities of romance: heroism, adventure, and mystery – for the anticipation of finding love, sealing a lucrative business deal, or attending a grand social event or a great conference. Hotel spaces are designed in scale and character for both grand and intimate gatherings, conversation and celebration. Guests like to feel that they have traveled to a faraway or more exotic, rustic, or elegant place than they really have.

Romance is often associated with nature, particularly light and water in their various manifestations, including sunrise and sunset, candlelight, firelight and moonlight, the ocean, forests and meadows. A meadow can be evoked through soft textures and materials that facilitate serenity and airiness, such as a grassy courtyard. The right type of carpet, particularly one with a curved edge, can be used in a romantic hotel lobby to create the soft feel of a meadow.

Moving light from under the water in in the fountain pool plays on the walls and the lobby's vaulted ceiling. Water also can be evoked through materials with sheen or reflectivity, such as polished stone, metal, or mirrors.

Voting Question: Is Actuarial Innovations, Actuary resources, or Medical Innovations of Howard Butler a scam?

I saw an ad on careerbuilder.com for this organization "Actuary Resources" for a position as an Actuary Analyst. The post does not mention anything about passing any exams. It just mentions that you have some college degree in Math., Statistics, Finance, or a related field and at least 3 hours of Calculus. So I think I am a perfect match. I emailed my resume and I get an email inviting me for a face-to-face interview even though their office is in Tennessee and I am a resident of South Carolina. Anyway since I was trying to start a career I rushed to book a $250 air ticket and reserved a hotel room. But Howard Butler had it all planned. His company has 3 different names “Actuary Resources”, “Actuary Innovations Inc.” and “Medical innovations”, as I told you before he got it all planned. He knew that only desperate job seekers would respond to his ad and would travel hundreds of miles for interviews. So he acts during the interview as if he is checking the resume and it is like he has not seen your resume when you emailed it through careerbuilder.com, and he goes like "oh, see, you have to at least pass Society of Actuaries Exam P in order to be eligible for the job and to pass the exam you have to join our 10 hour review class for $380". It is like you had never sent them your resume or the post had not been spacious to include such a requirement". But as I told you my friends before, it is all part of the scam he masters and he keeps telling you lies about how many companies he has contracts with and how many job offerings he got in his drawers just awaiting your success in the exam and of course your $380. To all job seekers in actuarial science fields do not fall in this scam!!!

Resolved Question: Does the Hotel you stay in hire illegal aliens?

Illegal Alien Hotel Employee In Tennessee Admits Murdering Hotel Customer • June 25, 2010 Valentino Vasquez MirandaKNOXVILLE, Tenn. — A young man has admitted killing an Alabama woman and accepted a plea deal that requires him to spend 51 years in prison. The Knoxville News Sentinel reports that Valentino Vasquez Miranda, a 20-year-old Mexican who is in the U.S. illegally and does not speak English, signed the deal Thursday and is awaiting a judge’s approval. Miranda was working at a Knoxville Days Inn in September 2008 when guest Jennifer Hampton of Waterloo, Ala., disappeared. Police believe Miranda used a master key to enter the room. Resolved Question: Which story idea do you like better? And Which should I pursue?

1) Two girls (best friends) are backpacking across Europe when they meet an old man (doing?). He seems nice (although he’s lonely), and there’s just something about him that they trust so they decide to stay at his house for the night, since they don’t have quite enough money for a hotel. Sometime during the stay, they accidentally find a bunch of photos…of them when they are younger! They don’t want to pry, but when asked of who is in the photos, the old man admits that he is the girls’ grandfather, and they are sisters! 2) A girl who is a half dimensional being who is here on a quest and it’s in an old world where humans are more primitive and she is here to capture one but falls in love! Or it could be a guy! That would make it a SMEXY plot where he catches the girl and he falls in love and fights his culture for her and breaks all the rules for her heart. 3) A girl who has to stay at her grandpa’s farm in Tennessee where NOBODY is and she ends up loving it and getting a boyfriend (one of the farmhands). Her grandpa falls off the tractor and has to go to the hospital, and it’s a very disturbing time for them all but he makes it through.

Voting Question: Does it seem like he likes me?

This could be kinda long so let me break it up. I moved to Tallahassee for like three months, while I was there I made friends with this guy and before I was even his friend I had a crush on him.I got my friend to see if he would go out with me before I was friends with him and he said no because he didn't know me.Then we made friends with each other through his ex and my friend (the one that wrote the note) Then I had a friend ask him again he said no,I blew it off and we were still friends. Then I had to move back to Orlando for three months because of money situations and I didn't talk to him much but to his ex cause she turned out to be my best friend. Then to save money I moved to Tennessee and lived with some family I hated it up there (no offense to people who like it there) realizing that we were no better up in Tennessee We moved back to Orlando. I got a new phone and I constantly text him and he too constantly text me and its not friendly,at least thats how everyone else see"s it it more girlfriend and boyfriend like I tell him I love him and he tells me he loves me.We talk about visiting each other (and of course my other friends in Tallahassee) but like more in an intimate way. We"v had some serious conversations that basicly go like I tell him that I'm serious about wanting to be with him and that I really do love him and stuff like that and he says He means everything he says too. In about six months to a year I'm suppose to be moving (hopefully for the last time) to one of these three spots Pensacola,Panama city,or Tallahassee.Any of those mean I'll get to see him very frequently.I'm also suppose to see him around the 11th of August and I'm going to my friends for spring break So I'll see him then or for spring break I'm suppose to stay at his house with him if his parents are okay with it. My firend (his ex) came down for the summer since she is my best friend and I havn't seen her in a long time and she just went home yesterday but this past week she"s asked him if he likes me and he either says "idk" or "stop asking" I'm confused,if he does 'love' me like the serious type or like me like the serious type would he be more forward or something I don't wanna ask if he really does cause it really would make everything awkward or mess anything that is happening up so I'm just wondering if anyone thinks it seem like he likes me? Some thing that make me wonder on my 'yes or no's" are 1.His phone was nearly dead and he was coming home from a hotel and he left his charger there and instead of preserving the battery he decided to text me 2.He has a questionable image, many girlfriends (some have web camed for him) and he sometimes does weed (don't get you panties in a bunch its a fact but not one that's the biggest deal I'm honestly more concerned about the many girlfriends,I have to much pride to become amusement or a toy to him,and those girlfriends make me jealous) 3.Last I heard he liked this girl (self explanatory?it was a while back but I havn't heard anything new so how do I know he doesn"t still like her right?) 4.Not that it matters but eh might as well point this out he calls me babe, baby, sexy, beautiful 5.He says he gets excited when I text him (its a big deal to me so shush) 6.He wants to see me as bad as I want to see him (that has to count right?) 7.He constantly cares for me like if I'm upset he"ll try to do something idk say something soothing 8.He stays calm when im (parden the language) bitchy (not many people can do that, exspecially if I try to get them annoyed to) 9.He says he loves me!!! :D (just thought I'd point that out) So does it seem like he likes me?

Resolved Question: I need help with planning a vacation to Disney World for my family...Please help!?

Hi! I am wanting to plan a vacation for me and my family sometimes next summer. I would like to go around the 1st week of June 2011. Arrive on a Friday and leave on a Monday morning. It is 2 adults, my husband and I, and our 4 children. Ages on arrival will be 3, 5, 9, and 10. I just need 1 room, with multiple beds. I would like it to be close to the park. I've never been, and I am wanting any information that I can get. I need info on pricing, for hotel and for park. Does it cost to get into park? And when you pay ti get into park, are there any other prices? I know you have to pay for food and things like that. But do you have to pay for rides and shows? I am wanting to take them to the Walt Disney World park, and to Sea World also. 4 days, 3 nights. Also, I would need the hotel to have a fridge. Can I buy groceries and bring them into the hotel? I am looking for the best budget and deal that I can get. Also, I guess I need to know about travel. Prices of tickets, and will I need a rent a car to get around? Prices of those if so? If anyone has traveled to Disney World with children, what were your prices for the travel, hotel, and admittance to the theme parks and so on. Also, I'm traveling from Tennessee if that is any help at all. I would greatly appreciate any feedback that I can get. Thanks :-) !

Voting Question: Can Mother with hold visitation due to schedules and tell Dad where to stay w/kids and what do during visits?

I live in Florida and my kids live in Tennessee. They just moved again to Tennessee from New Mexico. I have 72 days of visitation in my home state/state of choice and the rest are in their home state. I'm getting my kids in GA this summer for my 2 weeks. (I'm meeting the ex at her request to save money on flights, she has to fly with them) So it would be easy for me to do some of my visitation time in their state immediately following my 2 weeks in Georgia and go to TN for a couple of weeks of my visitation. I have place to stay (free) this summer, in a city about 2 hours from the one they live in (over a hotel) and she is now telling my I cannot do that because I have to stay in THEIR home "city" and take them to all activities she has scheduled for them 2 hours away. She has things planned everyday. I would love to take them to the things I can and I always have, I realize this is their life too..however this time it makes more since for me to stay at my friends (free) and just get to spend my time with my kids doing whatever we can together...it's a matter of exercising all my visitation or not. I do not know when I'll be able to afford to travel again and pay for a hotel (which is exactly her plan) Here is the agreement exactly 2.2.1.1.1 Respondent shall give Petitioner eighteen (18) days advance notice of the time he wishes to exercise visitation with the minor children out of their home state. 2.2.1.2 It is also acknowledged that these dates chosen below are the least interruptive of the children’s school schedule, activity schedule, and work schedule. 2.2.1.4 Respondent shall have a total of 30 days of visitation in the minor children’s state of residence. Respondent may exercise his visitation with children any time of the year in their home state. Respondent shall give Petitioner eighteen (18) days advance notice of the time he will be visiting. 2.2.1.5 It is acknowledge that the Respondent being flexible with the children’s schedules may result in loss visitation time in a given period. If it is no fault of the Respondent, any visitation time lost in the Respondent’s home State may be made up during the summer break (June-August) and may accrue year to year. Any visitation not able to be met in the Petitioner’s home State may be made up at any time. Visitation may not be unreasonably withheld by Petitioner due to schedules. Any visitation missed by fault of the Respondent, shall not accrue year to year.

Voting Question: is this f***ing fair?

ok so me and my girlfriend's friend is in the military in texas. she wants us to come visit. we live in tennessee. 17 hour drive. over 2,000 miles, and hundreds in gas. she said she'd pay for the gas to go back home. still over a hundred dollars for us to pay in gas. we'd put 2,000 miles on our car. we'd leave in the AM on the 15th. get there early morning on the 16th. have to sleep. so we'd spend time with the friend at night on 16th, during the day on 17th (cause she has to report back to base at night) than leave AM on the 18th. not even a whole 24 hours with our friend. then travel 17 hours back and work when we got back. but if i did not got, she'd buy my girl a plane ticket and meals. but my girl would have to pay for the hotel room and a cab the whole weekend (which she would have to take alone to even see her friend) but she wouldnt buy me a ticket. now i just find out that if i DO go, the "friend" would pay for EVERYTHING for my girl. but wouldn't pay for me. seriously WHAT THE F***. i'd be making the SAME effort. i'd be asking off more time from work. i'd be driving the same distance to see the same person but do i just not count? b/c nothing of mine would get paid for. so my girl said if i don't go she won't go. so i told her other than going for HER there was nothing in it for me. i'm so pissed over this right now i can't see straight. so my girl then says, fine don't go but i'm going it sounds fun i was sick to my stomach from being so mad. so i was like uh you just said you wouldnt go luckily, she called with a sweet voice and said she was only kidding,, and understands, and if things still dont work we won't go still...is this fair? do i have a right to be angry? @ patricia it is OUR FRIEND. she wants me to come as much as my girlfriend. She has been communicating about this trip through my gf b/c i've been at work. she has said for a week now she'd pay for us both. then today she just said she'd only pay for her. It is not in my nature at all to argue and be angry. but i think your failing to see my side, i really do.

Resolved Question: Which State to Stop and Rest in on our way to Florida?

My family of 6 will be taking a trip to Florida soon, and we won't be able to complete the trip all at once. We would like to know which state would be safe and clean to stop in. We would prefer if it was about half way through the trip. Also which hotels do you recommend that are safe, clean, aren't overly expensive, and fit our family size? The states we will be passing trough are: the bottom of Illinois, the tip of Kentucky, the middle of Tennessee, the middle of Georgia and then into Florida. Thank you so much for your help. We appreciate it very, very much! :)
